You're Invited to our Birthday Party!

Vendors & Shoppers Welcome!

We are turning  4 years old and we wanted to celebrate with you!

This birthday event is our way of saying Thank You for 4 years of supporting  The Wahm Addict LLC!  Our number one priority has always been to help the work at home mom any way we can.

We have been working at home online since 2001. We bring all our knowledge and training to provide our clients the best possible results!

Do you have a home business? Are you in network marketing? Perhaps you’re a crafter and have things to sell? Maybe you have an Etsy Store?   Then this FREE event is for you!

Most people do events to create a social media presence getting their name out there.

Our birthday party will be a Facebook Event on our Facebook Business Page Potential customers can contact and engage with any vendor. It is a fantastic way to get your name and your business out there. It takes an average of 7 visits to your website before most consumers will make a purchase.  By sharing information in this setting, the real networking process can begin. Just as if you were at a physical event such a home party, vendor expo, etc.  Most of us have all been to a home party, right?

The representative usually gives a background summary about herself and why she joined. So before you even decide to make a purchase, you are already getting to know and hopefully trust the person demonstrating. Doing this all online from the comfort of your home is a huge benefit. No one has to haul products, no need for babysitters, beverages or snacks, and there is no cleanup! Who doesn’t love that?!

Only one representative per company is permitted. This keeps competition to a minimum.

We have received reports of increased fan base, email lists, and new potential prospects

Head over to the event and click going so you will get notifications.  Take a look around at the list of vendors and the businesses they will be showcasing so you can be ready grab the specials as they happen! This is a great opportunity to start your holiday shopping!

Interested in being a vendor, check the companies already represented and if yours is not listed, send us an email to info@wahmaddicts.com with your name, the company name and a URL to either your Facebook business page or profile so you can be contacted directly.

All Vendors who participate in this event (must post and invite/share this event) can enter our drawing in for a FREE spot in our Black Friday Event. This Holiday event is going going to the biggest we have ever done! It includes not only your entry into the event but three other add-ons that no one else includes! So be sure to watch for details!

We are looking forward to having some fun while making some new friends! Share this post with anyone you think may be interested in showcasing their business (After all it’s Free!) or want to save some money! See you there and bring your friends!

Facebook: The Marketing Tool

Facebook: The Marketing Tool

Facebook Is An Easy Tool To Master

It can add just the right sense of fun, differentiating you and your business from the rest of the market.  A Facebook page is meant mainly to promote your business. So you can look at a profile as a personal persona and your page like a professional persona. But how about mixing things up a bit?

On your Facebook Page, you can link your profile to your page. By going onto your personal profile and click About, then click on  Work and Education, in the employer box enter your page name and it will pop up and link making it super easy for others to find your business and not violate Facebooks Terms of Service.

We all can have a maximum of 5000 friends on our personal Facebook profile. When you reach this limit, you have the option to allow people to follow your profile so they can still receive your updates. To do that you need to: Go to your Settings Click Public Post in the left column Choose Public next to Who Can Follow Me. You do not need to be friends with everyone. Sadly, some request a friendship only to pitch you their products or services.  Save your friends for just that – people you want to be in touch with.

Inviting your friends to like your Facebook page sounds good in theory, but realistically how many of your friends and family actually buy from you now?  Most don’t want everything from your biz coming through their news feed. Building your business with just your friends and or friends of friends should not be your only focus.

Great Exposure

One of the things Facebook is famous for is the potential for endless exposure. It’s really unbeatable. When it is used strategically and consistently, you will notice that increase in your company’s visibility. Make sure you are posting comments, tips, advice, and offers regularly. By doing so, you will build credibility and respect, which in turn will lead to increased revenue.

No Cost Marketing – If you use the Facebook page in combination with other applications you will discover that there are a number of excellent tools you can use to market your products/services and promote your business. It will take you a little while to learn how to use all these tools, but you will master them. Then you can decide which ones are right for you.  Our Resource page has many of those tools.  Many are ones we use every day in our business as do our clients.

Organic Reach

Using Facebook allows you, the individual to avoid conforming to a set of pre-designed rules that would otherwise have to be followed in any other advertising arena.  Even when you run Facebook ads,  it will always boost your ability to reach new people organically.     I am sure you have seen when you are online say browsing Amazon.  Then you go back to Facebook and the very thing you were looking at is right there waiting for you.  Facebook takes that behavior and it applies to Facebook Ads which helps you get in front of those who want to see it based on what they do online.

Completing the process of optimizing your Facebook business page will ensure those looking for you will find you by your keywords.  Do not leave gaps in your business description. Doing so leaves room for your readers and customers to wonder if you are hiding something. by not having your page optimized completely, you could be sending the reader right to your competition.

Get clear on your focus. Utilizing the same message across all social network ads cohesiveness. Providing something interesting to read when they find your page and will allow them to become faithful followers wanting to see what you post next! Include the latest developments in your niche. If you don’t, someone else will and if they get the information elsewhere they could end up following them.

Email or Facebook

Have you ever heard that Facebook is going to kill email?  Not going to happen! If you are one of the many who thinks they don’t need email because you can do it all on Facebook, you could be setting your business up for some future trouble.  Facebook is a fantastic tool for not only direct people to your website, but you can also use it build your email list. If you are using Facebook as your “catch-all”,  you may want to pay close attention here.

Driving traffic back to your website on your own terms puts you in charge of contact with your customers, not Facebook or any other social channel. Use that traffic to grow your email and customer list so you can communicate with them at any time and anywhere with no restrictions.

Conclusion

The best part is that it can actually be free if you want it to be.  Facebook gives you the option of running free or paid promotions. The paid aspect is through Facebook’s formal ads. You can choose the location, interests, relationship status, gender, age and location of your target market.  What a convenient way to start your marketing strategy online!  If you have any questions feel free to drop me a message through this contact form and I will be happy to help in any way I can.

To your Success,

Linda Chisnall; Wahm Addicts

Facebook Pages Bring a Steady Stream of New Visitors

Use Facebook Pages to Drive Traffic to New Business

If you aren’t yet convinced on how a Facebook page can benefit your new business by driving traffic to it, you need to look at some of the stats recently released. The fact of it is, we live in a technological world that is more and more driven by social media. Facebook alone has proven to drive more traffic to businesses.

Setting up a Facebook page costs you no money. It’s easy to create, run, and develop, and it has the potential to bring new customers on board. New businesses can quickly gain exposure for their page by incorporating Facebook ads that link back to the Facebook page.

Facebook ads make it very easy to target your market-based on age, gender, location, hobbies, interests, career, education, work, etc. This means you can quickly bring targeted traffic to your site and provides you with the opportunity to begin bringing customers in much faster than in previous times.

Of course, it takes more than just having the Facebook page. Being the page is on the site of the social network giant it’s no surprise that it has a great deal of power. Facebook has launched technology that gives you the ability to be able to create a storefront on your page. You no longer have to drive traffic to your page and then to your website. You can do it all right on your page. More and more businesses recognize just what it can do for their business.

New businesses that recognize that a Facebook page can give them a head start on getting their new business rolling, are on the right track. They’ll reap the benefits of a Facebook page for years to come.

How to Use Facebook for Business

Let’s look at some of the most common ways to use Facebook for business.

1. First of all,  Name your page carefully.  You typically only get one chance to change it. This can be up to Facebook’s discretion so it is not always guaranteed.  If you do not have a bunch of followers, it may just be easier to start over. get a Facebook vanity URL so that users can easily find you. A vanity URL can be the name of your business, a product, etc.

2. Get a Facebook vanity URL so that users can easily find you. A vanity URL can be the name of your business, a product, etc.  Do not skip this step! This is your business and you want to take these little steps to leave a lasting impression.  This applies to your groups as well! Add your Facebook URL to your signature line for email, marketing campaigns,

3. Categorize your business. The drop down makes it easy.  Use keywords so you clients can find you during their search.

4. Complete the About section.  Again, use keywords, this will help you get found in the search engines, just not Facebook.

5. Combine Facebook with some of the other social media tools such as LinkedIn or Twitter. For example, someone asks you a question on Twitter, then post your answer to your blog and link that to your Facebook page. You see how you can bring things round circle and create cohesion.

6. Post a picture of your product brand or a professional photo of yourself. It’s always great to use a logo whenever possible.

7. Use your page to grow your branding. Add basic information to the page including links to your company website, information about the company, a mission statement, a newsletter subscription, etc.

8. Make sure you update your Facebook page regularly with helpful information, answers to questions, promotions being offered, etc. Remember the more you can engage your fan the more times they will visit, and the more people they will share the page with.

9. Use your page to promote your sales, new products, upcoming events, etc. Take full advantage of what a page can do for your business.

10. Use the Facebook search feature to find other fan pages related to your industry, business, career, or location and then network with these pages.

11. Use Facebook ads to bring people to your page. Pages that are interactive and offer the individual value with having no problem turning visitors into fans. Remember those fans can share with their friends and those friends can share with their friends. You can see how you can quickly grow your page.

5 Simple Steps to Advertising Success on Facebook.

5 Simple Steps to Advertising Success on Facebook.

5 Simple Steps to Advertising Success on Facebook

Facebook networking continues to grow and attract new people. Today more than any time in the past this is not something you can overlook. Social networking for business growth is a viable option.

Here are 5 simple steps to advertising success on Facebook

1. Target Your Market
One of the powerful things about Facebook is that you can easily target who will see your ads using a number of different variables that include age, geography, gender, workplace,
education, relationship status, demographics, etc. as well as keywords.
2.  Attract Then Engage
You will have to make a decision about where you are going to direct people – it can be your website or your Facebook application, group, event, or page.  Facebook ads are an excellent tool to promote events, get new fans, promote content, build brand recognition, and go much deeper and build trust. The amount of space you have is small so make sure to use it smartly.
3.   Budget
Facebook ads are similar to AdWords. You bid on keywords and compete to have your ads shown
. You can select either CPC (cost per click) where you pay each time your ad is clicked or CPM (cost per thousand) where you pay per 1000 ad views. To begin your campaign you’ll need to set your budget.
4. Test
You should always test your ad campaign. Facebook makes it pretty simple, although h all ads have to be approved by Facebook. Create a number of ad versions. Then you will be able to easily see which ad is performing the best.
5.  Analyze
After you launch your ad campaign it’s important for you to start to track and tweak. Facebook gives you with a tool that provides insights on actual demographics compared to targeted demographics. This reporting makes it easier for you to determine which advertisements are working and where your ads are failing. You Facebook page will be most successful if you create it in such a manner that you actually engage your fans. It’s one thing to post updates, product information, etc. but it’s quite another to actually carry on a conversation with a fan. It’s been proven that those pages where there is a great deal of conversational interaction do far better than those that are more one-sided.
Small Business Events

Small Business Events

Online Vendor Events

Everyone knows someone who is in some kind of a home business.  With all the changes and guidelines within Facebook, business owners are finding it more challenging than ever to have their businesses be seen.  After a few events, we realized what a huge need there is for this type of networking. Being able to share what you do within a small group setting lessens the restrictions that the average person encounters when posting on a page or group.

Facebook Events

Potential customers can contact and engage with any vendor. It is a fantastic way to get your name and your business out there. It takes many visits to your website before most consumers will purchase from a website.

No one has to haul products, no need for babysitters, beverages or snacks, and no cleanup! Who doesn’t love that?!

More eyes on your business!

Black Friday of 2015, we started hosting events. We found out just how popular and in demand this really was. The Wahm Addict recently re-branded one of our Facebook pages to accommodate these events. Small Business Enterprises is now Small Business Vendor Events.  This page now features all of our events we sponsor and host. Events are promoted on all of our networking platforms. allowing us to connect with the people who are actually interested and not just hoping someone sees it. Vendors can show their products and sales for two weeks unless otherwise posted.

Only one representative per company is permitted. This keeps competition to a minimum. All the guidelines are posted within each event. We have received many compliments from our vendors. We have received reports of increased fan base, email lists, and new potential prospects. As a result, engagement from these events is the most vendors have ever received in an online event. We are more than pleased to hear this and will continue to do our absolute best!

We currently have one event scheduled per month throughout the year.  Spots are already filling up for all events We have many vendors who return for the next event or grab a spot in a future event. Many do this to coincide with a special promotion they know is coming. During these events, we offer exclusive specials for vendors and guest who attend. Our March event is our Spring-tastic Shopping Event!

We have a Free Amazon Gift Card opportunity posted within the event.  We hope you will you stop by and support our vendors and shop small business. Helping other’s moms by purchasing gifts for holidays, birthday’s anniversaries or maybe even to pamper yourself can help another family more than you may even realize. If you are interested in knowing more, please email us at thewahmaddict@gmail.com,  We hope to see you there!

2016 is going to be YOUR Year!

2016 is going to be YOUR Year!

Success is Yours this Year!

Don’t you feel that way every January? It is a fresh start where we can (hopefully) erase the mistakes of the past and learn from them.  We all get caught up in this thing called life. We have the best of intentions, but sometimes we all have a problem focusing and staying on track.

This year we are off to a fabulous start! We are plans for many new projects that we hope to unveil in the coming months. In the meantime, we are getting back to basics.  Our first start is organization. It is so easy to get caught up in Social Media (ours is Facebook…ha) and next things you realize is you didn’t finish or even start what you originally planned! Can you relate?

2015 was a challenging year for us both personally and professionally. So we didn’t complete the plan and things got put on the back burner, again.  We hope you will accept our apologies and our promise to do better in 2016! If you have felt this way, we welcome you to join us on our mission to make things happen!

We are crossing off things on the checklist one by one and the feeling is awesome. That feeling of accomplishment makes us want to keep moving on to the next item on the list. Do you have a list of what you want to accomplish? If not, maybe you should take the time to at least draft one just get started. Don’t put making a list on the list of things to do! HA! If you did have a list, did you start with the things that didn’t work out last year? That is exactly our starting point this January.  This blog post is one of those things on that list.  The next thing on that list is to be more consistent about putting out regular blog posts about the things that matter to you and your business!

Our Facebook Event

Black Friday 2015 we hosted our first ever Event on Facebook and it was a Success! Three things that make our events different are 1) the cost to participate is below the average – saving you money. 2) We only permit one rep per company so that there is not a major competition from multiple reps posting over each other.  3) We pay for Facebook Ads (no extra cost for vendors) and heavily promote ourselves on all our Social Media Platforms! You work for your money. We do too!

To start of 2016 with Bang, we are hosting a Winter Clearance Event on Facebook. Designed to help those with extra inventory liquidate them and for those who have new products to showcase! There is something for everyone. If you are interested in becoming a vendor or just want to shop some sweet deals, stop by our event and help support Work At Home Moms!  Head over to our Winter Clearance Event!   We hope to see you there!

In the meantime, take some time to refocus on what you want to accomplish in your business. Every little bit counts.  If it a goal to accomplish one thing per day or a few things per week!  We want to hear from you! Don’t forget to include your contact info so we can all find you and connect!
